I am very glad to announce that this painting, Stellar Remnants, was selected by jurors Yaounde Olu and Jeff Hirst for the 9th Annual Bridgeport Art Center Art Competiton. Over 1200 pieces of art were submitted by over 400 artists this year, and only 60 paintings were chosen, so I am extremely honored to have been included. Twelve of my most recent paintings are featured in the Sanctuary at First Free Church, for my latest solo show titled Reconciled Among the Stars. First Free Church 5255 N. Rivulet, 2017, oil and cold wax on panel, is one of three works from my Great Lakes series that was accepted into an online exhibition titled Water/Seascapes by the Contemporary Art Gallery Online.  Also accepted were Dark Water, 2017, 24″ x 24″ and Sandbar, 2016, 14″ x 14″ both oil and cold wax.
